Hawaii County police investigate Kona shooting
Hawaii County police were investigating a shooting in a residential area of West Hawaii.
Police said one man was in custody and another was undergoing surgery Thursday night at Kona Community Hospital.
The man’s condition remained unknown, police said.
The shooting reported at 6:35 p.m. Thursday at Rabbit Hill Road in Captain Cook, appeared to stem from a dispute involving neighbors, according to an initial police investigation.
