Driving without seatbelt leads to auto theft arrest
A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Makiki woman on suspicion of auto theft Saturday on Keeaumoku Street.
An officer noticed that he woman was not wearing a seat belt and pulled her over. While writing the ticket, the officer discovered the car the woman was driving had been reported stolen and arrested the woman at 1:10 p.m., police said.
