5 score in double figures for BYUH men
Daniel Berger had 18 points and six rebounds to power the BYU-Hawaii men’s basketball team to an 88-67 victory over Holy Names on Saturday in a Pacific West Conference game in Oakland, Calif.
Five players scored in double figures for the Seasiders (12-2, 6-2 PacWest). Pablo Coro chipped in 15 points and Scott Friel, Luke Aston and Ian Harward each added 10.
Dante Robinson led Holy Names (2-14, 0-8) with 16 points.

Chaminade women end road drought
In its ninth year of existence, the Chaminade women’s basketball team accomplished a feat it never had before — winning on the mainland.
Lilia Maio scored a season-high 18 points and Shana Kawakami’s layup with eight seconds left off a turnover gave the Silverswords a 72-71 road victory over Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, Calif.
Chaminade (2-9, 2-5 Pacific West Conference) won back-to-back games for the first time since February 2007.

Keairre White had 18 points and Megan Lee added 17 for the Sunbirds (2-11, 2-6).
