FRIENDS FILL PEARL TO AID PHOTOGRAPHER | 1. Diane Dar, left, Jimmy Borges and Chris Lee partied with Michi Moore, well-known event photographer and cancer survivor, at the "Friends for Michi Fundraiser" Jan. 30 at Pearl Ultralounge. The club was filled to capacity with friends who wanted to give back to Moore for her work in the community by helping defray her medical expenses. So many entertainers donated their services that each was limited to one song apiece. As Borges put it, "They only had time to do their best (one)."

'LEADING LADIES' OPENS AT DHT | 4. Diamond Head Theatre supporters Jim Triplett, left, and Sharon Kirkpatrick talked with Artistic Director John Rampage Feb. 1 at the preshow sponsors' reception for the Hawaii premiere of "Leading Ladies." Rampage has directed his share of DHT shows in recent years, but Rob Duval and Paul Mitri are co-directing "Ladies" as well as starring in it, so he was able to enjoy the party.
