Tree branch causes power outage in Punchbowl, Nuuanu
Hawaiian Electric Co. crews have restored power to about 4,000 customers in the Punchbowl and Nuuanu area, a spokesman for the electric company said this morning.
The outage was reported at about 4:30 a.m. and power was restored to all customers by 5:20 a.m.
Spokesman Darren Pai said the cause of the outage was a tree branch that came in contact with a power line.
