Isle leaders launch campaign to boost college graduations

West Oahu graduates were honored during spring commencement exercises held on the UH West O?ahu Great Lawn. There were 223 degrees and certificates awarded to the graduates. At the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, the graduates move their tassels from one side to the other to symbolize the completion of their schooling. (In the front row, l-r) Debra Mott, Jennifer Alviar, Kylie Arrell, Apple Jane Baddo, Jessica Boteilho (hidden) and Vanely Diaz (hidden) switch their tassels. They graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree.
