Woman, 18, injured in Pearl City accident

An 18-year-old woman was critically injured Friday in a pedestrian accident in Pearl City, Emergency Medical Services reported.

Police dispatch said the accident involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, but no further information was available.

EMS said the woman suffered multiple injuries in the incident, which occurred at 7:26 p.m. at 98-450 Hookanike St.

Paramedics transported the woman by ambulance in critical condition to a trauma center.

Attempted murder investigation launched

Police opened an attempted murder investigation Saturday morning after a man arrived at a Kaneohe hospital with an apparent gunshot wound.

Police said the 33-year-old victim showed up at the hospital with serious bodily injuries about 1:45 a.m.

The man was reportedly shot in the arm on Waiahole Valley Road in Waikane, police said. The shooter was unknown.

Suspect sought in Waianae stabbing

Police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed Saturday during a large fight in Waianae.

Police said the 20-year-old victim was stabbed by another man about 3 a.m. near Makua Cave.

A first-degree assault case has been opened.
