‘Silver Linings Playbook’
After spending a stint in a state institution on a plea bargain, a former teacher but still avid fan of his Philadelphia Eagles football team moves back in with his parents, determined to rebuild his life and reunite with his wife. He meets a mysterious young woman with problems of her own, who offers to help him reconnect with his wife, provided that he’ll do something very important for her in return. There’s some Oscar buzz surrounding this movie starring Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro. At Consolidated Kahala Rated: R
