Recently revealed documents from the Hawaii State Archives signed by former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln during a news conference at the Hawaii State Archives Building in Honolulu Monday, June 8, 2009. The documents were recently validated as genuine and are a significant find for the group "The Papers of Abraham Lincoln," a Springfield, Ill. based research program that focuses on collecting and cataloging all data and documents signed by Abraham Lincoln throughout his lifetime.
