The Hawaii-based luxury swimwear line has launched its inaugural collection, Reve Bohemia, and will present its first trunk show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Fighting Eel’s Kailua store.
Founded by local designer Alicia Van Bokhoven, Rove stands for spontaneity, wanderlust and freedom, with a collection that includes custom linings and fabric, crochet and macrame, hand-crafted in Bali, Indonesia. The admitted “bikini addict” Van Bokhoven said her designs “mirror my lifestyle and travels worldwide.”
Rove is also available at The Bikini Room in Hanalei, Kauai, and online at beachwahine.com. San Lorenzo in Ala Moana Center and Kahului, Maui, will start carrying the line in April.
