The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Cable Television Division is holding a series of public hearings involving the merger of Time Warner Cable and Comcast Corp.
Comcast has submitted a joint application with Oceanic Time Warner Cable’s parent company, TWC, for the transfer of control of Oceanic’s Hawaii cable franchises, at the parent level, from TWC to Comcast.
These hearings will give the public an opportunity to provide comments to CATV on the proposed transfer and any cable-related issue. The public hearings begin Monday and end Friday.
