Go ‘Rogue,’ find a unique Christmas gift
Street Grindz and Kamehameha Schools will present Honolulu Night Market "Rogue Christmas," beginning 6 p.m. Saturday at 683 Auahi St. in Kakaako.
The idea is to allow holiday shoppers to "go rogue," ditching holiday mall madness in favor of picking up unique, handcrafted items for giftees.
Vendors include local designers and boutiques such as Andy South, Bamboo Sky, Tiff’s Thirfts, Hound & Quail, LMS Boutique, Interisland Terminal, 808 Urban, One Shabby Chick, Maiden Hell, Organik, Mamanu Kids and more.
There will be a T&C Skate Demo at 6 p.m., fashion show at 8:30 p.m., music from the deadbeats at 9 p.m. and a performance by Cocoa Chandelier.

Stylist lends talents to aid Sandy victims
California hairstylist Rowena Hiraga will join salons and stylists around the country for the "Scissors for Sandy" cut-athon to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Hiraga will be volunteering her time at Bruno de Paris, 1188 Bishop St., Suite 3109, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, giving haircuts for a minimum donation of $100 (the typical cost at the salon is $250). Checks should be made payable to Hometown Heroes.
