13-year-old boy arrested for alleged assault on teacher
Police arrested a 13-year-old boy Tuesday morning for allegedly assaulting a 59-year-old teacher at a downtown Honolulu school.
Police said the man was counseling the boy for being outside a classroom before the 10 a.m. assault.
Police arrested the boy on suspicion of second-degree assault.
He was released at 2 p.m. pending further investigation.
