Kalihi man, 36, charged in assault case
Police have arrested and charged a 36-year-old Kalihi man who allegedly assaulted a 19-year-old woman.
Police said the man allegedly hit the woman Dec. 23 with a dangerous instrument, causing her pain and injury.
The case was reclassified to misdemeanor abuse of a household or family member.
Police charged Anthony Eugenio on Tuesday with the lesser crime of misdemeanor abuse.
His bail was set at $2,000.
