No foul play suspected in inmate’s death
A 44-year-old Halawa inmate was found unconscious in his cell Thursday morning and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances or obvious signs of foul play. The man was taken to Pali Momi Medical Center at 5:09 a.m.
The case, classified Thursday as an unattended death, is pending an autopsy by the city medical examiner.
