Two Oahu organizations — River of Life Mission in Honolulu and Surfing the Nations in Wahiawa — have won $20,000 grants from Walmart after local residents voted in the Food Pantry Holiday Makeover campaign. 

Voters went on line to choose which food pantries would be in the top 75 of food pantries participating in the campaign. The food pantry will use the funds to purchase new equipment they need to prepare, store and transport food to families in need, according to a press release.
