When it’s not raining today, National Weather Service forecasters say it will be voggy and humid.
Kona winds are bringing the vog, humidity and some showers to much of the state.
A band of rain moved over Oahu early this morning before moving over Maui County.
Kauai is likely to get most of the rain today. There’s a slight chance of thunderstorms there.
Trade winds are coming back Friday, along with the usual windward and mauka showers.
But forecasters say conditions are still unstable and there’s a chance of leeward showers as well.

Another weather system may move in Sunday night bringing more showers during the early part of next week.
Heavy rain and flooding closed the Kalalau trailhead at Haena State Park on Kauai was closed Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
The Department of Land and Natural Resources will decide today whether the trail can be reopened.
Meantime, a brown water advisory for the island has been issued because of storm water runoff from the heavy rains.
The Department of Health is advising the public to stay out of flood waters and storm water runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer manholes, pesticides, animal fecal matter, dead animals, pathogens, chemicals, and associated flood debris.
