Whole Foods has signed a lease to open another store in Honolulu in Ward Village at the site of the former Nordstrom Rack and Office Depot.

The upscale grocer announced its Oahu expansion during the release of its first-quarter earnings report Tuesday. It will be the company’s third store on Oahu and fourth overall in the state.

Whole Foods said construction for the new 50,000-square-foot store, which will be the chain’s largest in the state, will begin in 2015. The store is expected to open in 2017 and hire 150 to 200 employees. There will be 425 additional parking spaces developed in support of the store.
