Heartthrob Hyun Bin returns to the big screen with hislatest historical film, "Fatal Encounter," which will open Friday at the Pearlridge West 16 theaters. The film was released at the end of April in Korea. Here is the synopsis provided by CJ Entertainment:
As the year 1777 opens, King Jeong-jo (Hyun Bin) enters the second year of his reign. He is constantly under threat from the opposing Noron and Soron factions. To defend his royal power, Jeong-jo draws upon his courage and his loyal servant Sang-chaek. In a shocking twist, Sang-chaek turns out to be an assassin sent to kill Jeong-jo. But, after witnessing Jeong-jo’s capacity to justly rule the people, he confesses his true identity, resulting in his banishment. As he leaves the palace, his eye catches Sal-soo, the deadliest assassin in Joseon. He frantically returns to the court, only to find Sal-soo in combat with Jeong-jo.

Sunday, 6:30 p.m.: Bong-su and Tae-kyung run into each other at the hospital where the president is staying. Choi Ji-hoon, the special prosecutor, announces the facts about the Yangjiri incident. The announcement throws Tae-kyung into confusion.
Sunday, 7:45 p.m.: Tae-kyung realizes there was another assassin at Cheongsudae. The nature of the relationship between President Lee Dong-hui and Kim Do-jin, chairman of Jaesin Group, starts to surface.

Episodes 15 and 16 (Final Episode)
Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Soo-hyun makes a deal with "The Wrist" guy, and Ji-hoon finds Saet-byul and brings her back. But Saet-byul is taken away from Ji-hoon again when the evidence Soo-hyun used to make a deal turns out to be fake.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Dong-chan finally realizes who really killed Saet-byul. In order to save Saet-byul’s life, he has to make the most difficult decision of his life.

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Jung-woo realizes exactly how he feels about Aera, and wastes no time in letting Aera know. Aera is surprised by Jung-woo’s aggressiveness, but finds it difficult to accept his feelings. Yeo-jin also finds out Jung-woo’s feelings for Aera, and she’s overcome with jealousy.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Jung-woo is overcome with sadness and guilt when he finds out why Aera really left him. Aera is disciplined for the botched Internet broadcast, but Jung-woo comes to her side. Yeo-jin collapses from infection in her prosthetic leg, and Seung-hyun takes her place at the board meeting.

Friday, 7:45 p.m: Ji-woon finds out Dylan banned Soo-wan from the hospital. He sets up a dinner and invites Dylan and Soo-wan to make peace. Dylan is jealous when he sees Ji-woon and Soo-wan together. Soo-wan is confused by her feelings for Dylan.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m: Soo-wan is brought to the emergency room with a high fever, but soon disappears. Ji-woo is disappointed that Soo-wan still hasn’t gotten over her first love. Jae-beom tries to convince Dylan to go back to Boston and that his presence in Korea will only make things difficult for Soo-wan and himself.
