Police looking for man who used credit card stolen during burglary of tented home
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who may have used a credit card taken during an October burglary of a Kailua home that was tented for fumigation.
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who may have used a credit card taken during an October burglary of a Kailua home that was tented for fumigation.
The credit card was stolen Oct. 16 from a home on Hamakua drive and used at several locations. Police requested surveillance video from an ATM where the card had been used. The male suspect in the surveillance video is 20 to 30 years old and drives a white vehicle.
Police locked down an Enchanted Lake neighborhood for more than eight hours after finding weapons outside of the house. Police were sent to the house on Hamakua Drive on a report of a possible burglary in progress. Workers from Kamaaina Pest Control and Termite arrived at the home and saw that the fumigation tent had been cut open and called police. About 50 families were affected by the lockdown.
Specialized Services Division officers and their SWAT vehicle were called in because a shotgun and a rifle were found just outside the home.
