HPD kicking off West Oahu holiday traffic awareness campaign today
West Oahu businesses, community groups and schools will kick off its annual holiday traffic campaign with a rally at the Kapolei police station from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Live & Let Live/Drive Safe 4 Ewa campaign, co-sponsored by the Honolulu Police Department, will feature sign-waving and displays of wrecked vehicles as real-life reminders for motorists and pedestrians.
The sign-wavings are scheduled throughout Ewa, Kapolei and Waianae through Dec. 14.
