No. 7 Oregon pounded out 14 hits against four different Hawaii pitchers and ran its winning streak against the Rainbow Warriors to nine with a 10-5 victory on Saturday night at Les Murakami Stadium.

Pinch hitter A.J. Balta hit the go-ahead two-run single in the seventh inning off UH reliever Gordon Cardenas (0-1), who allowed four runs on six hits in three innings for Hawaii (0-2).

Junior Jarrett Arakawa, making his first start since the 2012 WAC tournament, allowed four runs on five hits in four innings for UH.

Marcus Doi went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Austin Wobrock singled and scored twice.

Wobrock committed two of UH’s three errors. Tyler Baumgartner was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored and Mitchell Tolman was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs to lead the Ducks (2-0).

Darrell Hunter (1-0) allowed one hit and an unearned run in 3 1/3 innings of relief to pick up the win and Porter Clayton retired all four batters he faced to earn the save.
