Hawaii women’s basketball coach Laura Beeman announced today the signings of her first three players for the 2013-14 season.

All three are currently sophomores at Mt. San Antonio College (Calif.), the junior college where Beeman launched her head coaching career.

Ashley Burchfield (6-2), Morgan Mason (5-9) and Shawlina Segovia (6-1) bring significant size to the UH roster. They will have two years of eligibility.

They respectively averaged 8.2 points and 5.7 rebounds, 11.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg, and 10.2 ppg and 5.4 rpg respectively as freshmen.
