Korean War veterans were recently honored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Honolulu and KBFD TV with a free movie at Saint Louis School’s Mamiya Theatre. The 2011 Korean War movie "Frontline" was shown to hundreds of veterans and their families. The movie, which stars Ko Soo and was directed by Jang Hoon, earned more than $20 million at the box office.

"Modern Farmer"
Episodes 5 and 6
Sunday, 6:30 p.m.: The whole village is determined to beat Sangdurok-ri in the sports competition. Their honor depends on it. The first half goes smoothly for Hadurok-ri, but things startfalling apart in the second half of the competition. Now it all rides on the 11-legged race. Hadurok-ri wins it, but the boys manage to mess things up for the villagers again. They resign themselves to going back to Seoul, but are pleasantly surprised in the morning.
Sunday, 7:45 p.m.: Min-ki tries to help Min-ho get rid of bullies. However, Yun-hui doesn’t appreciate the methods he used. The boys slave away for Man-gu in order to learn how to farm cabbages. Man-gu finally teaches them how, but all the boys seem distracted by other things. Han-cheol declares his love to Su-yeon without much success. Hyeok goes on a date with his girlfriend.
"Secret Door"

Monday, 7:45 p.m.:The King is riddled by nightmares every night. He finally allows the Crown Prince to come back to politics and promises him his support. Eunuch Jang’s brother is jailed for taking the civil service exam for someone else. When the Crown Prince finds out about it, he makes a big decision.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Na Cheol-ju shows himself to the Crown Prince and offers him his support to reform the civil service exam law. But he asks the Crown Prince if he’s willing to attack the King, his own father. The King is asked to find a new queen in order to get another prince.

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Eight years later, In-ha and her family have moved to Seoul. In-ha is trying to become a TV news reporter, and Dal-po gave up on going to college and works as a taxi driver to support the family. In-ha gets an interview at MSC, one of the networks where her mom works.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: When In-ha is ready to give up on becoming a reporter, Dal-po asks her to try once more, this time with him. Dal-po and In-ha have just a month to prepare for another network’s hiring test. They both pass the written test and go in for the interview.
"Birth of a Beauty"

Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Tae-hee tries to stop Chae-yeon from marrying Kang-joon, but fails. Sara decides she failed to seduce Kang-joon because she only used her beauty to charm him. She comes up with her own plan to seduce Kang-joon.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Sara pours her heart out to Kang-joon, and asks him to come to her. Sara practically declares war on Chae-yoen and warns her that she’ll take Kang-joon away from her. Chae-yeon takes it up with Kang-joon, but he ignores her.
