Weather officials predict cool, dry weekend
The National Weather Service says to expect cool, dry conditions over the islands into the weekend.
Forecasters say high winds will move eastward on Wednesday through Thursday.
Very little rainfall is expected though temperatures will gradually warm throughout the rest of the week with lows in the mid 60s and highs in the mid 70s.
A high surf advisory for north-facing shores of all islands is in effect until early Thursday and a wind advisory for Big Island summits is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
