»The state insurance commissioner has revoked the license of Hawaii bail bond agent Ida Pearson Peppers, who operated Freedom Bail Bond, for failure to pay bail forfeiture judgments. A Newswatch brief on Tuesday said the license was suspended.
» Oahu’s unsheltered homeless count in the 2014 Point in Time survey was 1,633, up 11.5 percent from 2013. A news story Tuesday said it was up 36.9 percent.
» A federal judge sentenced Douglas James Leopold on Friday to two years in prison for possessing a firearm while in the country illegally. A news story Saturday said the judge sentenced him to one year.
