The four men will be arraigned in Maui Circuit Court later this month, the state Department of Land and Natural Resources said Wednesday.
The alleged incident occurred in May. Hawaii News Now reports the Molokai men boarded a vessel visiting from Oahu.
The department says the men are charged with two counts of second-degree robbery and unauthorized first-degree entry into a motor vessel. They’re also charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and harassment.
They were released after they each posted $50,000 bail.
Big Isle man sentenced in 2012 murder
HILO » The second man convicted of a killing a Hawaiian Acres man nearly two years ago has been sentenced to life in prison.
The Hawaii Tribune-Herald reported Wednesday that 32-year-old Claude Krause of Kurtistown was sentenced Monday in the strangling death of 44-year-old Dante Peter Gilman at Gilman’s home.
Krause pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to second-degree murder.
Prosecutors say Krause held Gilman at gunpoint while his 21-year-old cousin, Kawena Krause, choked Gilman to death. On Dec. 2, Kawena Krause was also sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
Hilo Circuit Judge Glenn Hara told Claude Krause he "traded a life for property" and that made him a "very dangerous person."
