Police arrested a 23-year-old Pearl City man early Sunday morning for allegedly assaulting two men outside of a nightclub in the Ala Moana area.

Police said the two victims were leaving the nightclub just after 4 a.m. when the suspect assaulted a 28-year-old man. A 26-year-old man tried to intervene, police said, and the suspect attacked the second man.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

Officers located the suspect at Kona and Piikoi streets and arrested him on suspicion of two counts of second-degree assault.
