Reyn Spooner store hosts sketch class
Hawaii island artist Eddy Y will teach keiki how to sketch during an 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. appearance today at the Reyn Spooner store at Ala Moana Center.
The artist, who has created dozens of prints for Reyn Spooner’s aloha shirts, uses pencils, oils and acrylics to create scenes inspired by his love of the islands, hula and music.
Most recently, Reyn Spooner created a limited-edition series of aloha shirts ($105 each) featuring four of Eddy Y’s past designs. Customers who purchase any regular-priced Reyn Spooner aloha shirt during the event will receive a signed Eddy Y giclee print.
