2nd burglary in a week reported at UH Institute for Astronomy
The University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy reported Tuesday a loss of computer equipment due to a burglary.
Officials said the burglary occurred between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.
It’s the second theft in the building in a week.
Campus security reported on Monday that another burglary happened over the weekend between 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday.
No suspect description was available.
Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to call the UH Manoa Department of Public Safety at (808) 956-6911 or the Honolulu Police Department.
