Grand jury indicts brothers for attempted murder

Honolulu police investigate a stabbing on Friday, Nov. 9, that left a man in critical condition. Police arrested two suspects.

An Oahu grand jury today indicted two brothers charged with attempted murder in the stabbing and beating of a man who tried to break up a fight between the two men in Makiki Friday night.

Atory, 31, and Nick Willy, 29, are charged with second-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault. Both remain in custody with bail at $50,000 for each brother.

The brothers allegedly stabbed a man four times and beat him with a baseball bat when he tried to break up a fight between the two. The 39-year-old victim remains hospitalized.
