Augie Tulba returns to radio
Comedian Augie Tulba, usually referred to as Augie T, makes his return to radio today on KQMQ-FM 93.1 "Da Paina."
He will host the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. mid-day show Mondays through Fridays, while current mid-day host "Phat Joe" will move to afternoon drive, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to a station announcement.
Tulba also is well-known for appearing alongside weather anchor Guy Hagi on the weekly "Cheap Eats" restaurant feature aired during Hawaii News Now stations’ newscasts.
Tulba for years had co-hosted morning radio shows with veteran local radio personalities before getting his own show, which ended a few years ago.
