Missing woman and son found safe
Honolulu police located a missing 42-year-old woman and her 3-year-old son, who were reported missing Tuesday.
Pavla Stuchlichova and her son Benjamin were located at about 10 p.m. Wednesday after CrimeStoppers issued a missing persons alert earlier in the evening.
Sgt. Kim Buffett said Stuchlichova called police to say she was fine and asked for privacy.
Stuchlichova was reported missing after she disappeared after spending the night at a Hawaii Kai home with friends and her 15-year-old son.
Her cellphone was found near the home and she was seen on surveillance video withdrawing $500 from the First Hawaiian Bank branch on Kapiolani Blvd. at 11 a.m. Wednesday and getting into a taxi.
