NAMES ‘N’ FACES: Hawaii’s Bruno Mars didn’t score a Billboard music award last week, so that might have been the pits. But he did host Brad Pitt, the "World War Z" actor who is the partner of Angelina Jolie, at the Make It Right gala in New Orleans.

The event (with tables going for as much as $25,000) supported the pet project of Pitt, who founded the Make It Right foundation in 2007 to help rebuild the lives of Hurricane Katrina victims. Who knew Pitt was a music groupie? …
And if you’re in Los Angeles next weekend (and if you can score tickets), local boy Mars will be at the Hollywood Bowl Saturday and June1. Pharrell Williams is his guest star.…
