A collision between two cars at the intersection of Waimano Home and Moanalua roads in Pearl City sent a man in his 50s or 60s to the hospital in critical condition Monday, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.

Three other people in the cars, two 17-year-old girls and a 47-year-old woman, were in stable condition following the crash at about 1 p.m. Monday.

Police shut down Waimano Home Road in the southbound direction at Kuala Road, Kuala Road eastbound, and Moanalua Road westbound until Traffic Division officers completed their investigation of the scene at about 4 p.m.
