Eleven44 showcases fashion, food, fun
Eleven44 is the newest fashion hot spot, playing host to two events featuring pop-up shops this week. There’s no cover at the downtown lounge, at 1144 Bethel St., for the two 21-and-over events, but attendees are asked to "dress to impress."
Check out "Cheeky! A Champagne Affair," a new pau hana event for girlfriends hosted by eleven44 and Star 101.9 every Thursday from 6 p.m. Meet your friends for complimentary tapas and glasses of Mumm Sparkling Rose; pop-up clothing, jewelry and cosmetics shops; and massages and other pampering treats. Cheeky! specials include a hosted bottle of Champagne for groups of six or more and half-off bottles of Ciroc, Ketel One and Crown Royal. The real fun starts at 9 p.m. when DJ Maleko brings the entertainment.

Walk like Johnsons, support foundation
Feelgoodz has launched Jack Johnson by Feelgoodz, a slipper collection designed in collaboration with the North Shore-turned-international music star, with all proceeds benefiting Johnson’s Kokua Hawaii Foundation.
The collection comprises one men’s style and one women’s, selected by Jack Johnson and his wife, Kim, with colors and designs complementing Johnson’s latest album, "From Here to Now to You." Johnson wears Feelgoodz regularly because of the brand’s dedication to using natural materials.
The Kinderz slipper is Johnson’s favorite, made with a Vietnamese rubber midsole and outsole and veggie-tanned leather upper; it also features arch support and a footbed molded to a podiatrist’s specifications. It’s available for $49.99 in men’s sizes 9 to 13.
Kim Johnson’s favorite is the Slimz, made with high-quality Thai rubber and natural dyes. It’s available for $24.99 in women’s sizes 5 to 11.
The footwear is available at Feelgoodz.com as well as on Johnson’s North American tour, which has a stop in Honolulu on Aug. 1.
The Kokua Hawaii Foundation is a nonprofit founded in 2003 by the Johnsons to support environmental education in Hawaii’s schools and communities.
