4 suspects sought in UH-Manoa assault
An assault early Friday morning has triggered a security alert at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Campus security said a male student was walking back to his room at the residence halls when three male suspects chased him and a fourth man grabbed him from behind at about 12:45 a.m. near the ROTC building on Lower Campus Road. The suspects fled out the Waialae Avenue gate. Three are men 18 to 20 years old weighing about 160 pounds with medium builds. One suspect had shoulder-length hair and was wearing a baseball cap, T-shirt and jeans. Two others had crew cuts, T-shirts and jeans, campus security said.

The Hawaii County Fire Department said no one was injured in the fire at 92-8924 Paradise Parkway, which caused an estimated $120,000 in damage to the one-story house, fire officials said.
