Junior defensive tackle Wade Keliikipi (Waiane ’09) recorded two of Oregon’s sacks and freshman DeForest Buckner (Punahou ’12) had one Sophomore linebacker Cyrus Coen (Pearl City ’11) made five solo tackles and safety Taylor Taliulu (Kamehameha ’12) and Chester Sua (Kaimuki ’11) made two tackles each for the Cougars.
>>Boise State safety Jeremy Ioane (Punahou ’10) finished with six tackles in a 32-29 win over New Mexico on Saturday.
>>Brigham Young defensive lineman Simote Vea (Kahuku ’05) had two solo tackles in a 47-0 win over Hawaii on Friday.
>>Navy safety Wave Ryder (Kamehameha ’10) made nine tackles in a 12-0 loss to San Jose State on Saturday
>>UCLA safety Dalton Hilliard (Punahou ’09) recorded three of his four tackles for a loss and forced a fumble in a 48-14 win over Colorado on Saturday. Buffaloes sophomore Juda Parker (Saint Louis ’11) had one tackle for loss and K.T. T’umalo (Punahou ’11) had a solo tackle.
>>Idaho senior Robert Siavii (Leilehua ’08) had six tackles and defensive back Solomon Dixon (McKinley ’11) finished with three solo tackles and an interception in a 66-0 loss to North Carolina on Saturday.
>>Utah State safety Brian Suite (Punahou ’10) made eight tackles in a 35-13 win over UNLV on Saturday. Linebacker John Lotulelei (Baldwin ’09) had seven tackles and a pass breakup and Peni Vea (Kealakehe ’11) had five tackles and forced a fumble for the Rebels.
>>New Mexico State quarterback Andrew Manley (Leilehua ’10) finished 21-for-40 for 276 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-14 loss to Texas-San Antonio on Saturday. Senior linebacker B.J. Adolpho (Kahuku ’05) added seven tackles for the Aggies.
>>Oregon State defensive tackle Castro Masaniai (Waipahu ’07) made a tackle for loss and Devon Kell (Hilo ’09) added a solo tackle in a 38-35 win over Arizona on Saturday.
>>Montana quarterback Trent McKinney (Mililani ’11) was 14-for-17 for 126 yards and rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown in a 32-36 loss to Eastern Washington on Saturday.
>>Yale defensive end Kolu Buck (Punahou ’10) made two solo tackles in a 47-24 loss to Colgate on Saturday.
>>Dartmouth senior defensive tackle Elliot Kastner (Hawaii Prep ’09) made three tackles in a 28-21 loss to Penn on Saturday.
>>CSU-Pueblo senior linebacker Jason Campbell (Kamehameha ’09) made three solo tackles and broke up a pass in a 50-21 win over Fort Lewis on Saturday.
>>Western Oregon senior Cody vonAppen (Kalaheo ’08) rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries and was 10-for-28 for 133 yards and a touchdown in a 20-7 win over Azusa Pacific on Saturday. Receiver Lucas Gonsalves (Saint Louis ’09) had two catches for 32 yards and returned two punts for 25 yards.
>>Puget Sount sophomore Kupono Park (Kamehameha ’10) rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown and had three catches for 19 yards in a 55-42 loss to Lewis & Clark on Saturday. Junior Galen Arakawa (Punahou ’09) had three receptions for 31 yards and Brent Auyong (Kamehameha ’10) made a 15-yard catch for the Loggers, who also got eight tackles from Roy Fuchigami (Punahou ’10).

>>UC Santa Barbara setter Ali Santi (Punahou ’11) finished with 33 assists, eight digs and an ace in a three-set sweep of Cal Poly on Saturday.
>>Kansas State senior Kuulei Kabalis (Kamehameha Hawaii ’09) had a team-high six digs in a three-set sweep of Baylor on Saturday.
>>Cal State Northridge junior Mahina Haina (‘Iolani ’10) finished with 13 kills, eight digs and two block assists in a four-set win over Long Beach State last Thursday.
>>San Jose State senior midle Alex Akana (Kamehameha ’09) assisted on five blocks and added two digs, an ace and a kill in a three-set sweep of Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
>>Fairfield (Conn.) sophomore Carsen Mata (Moanalua ’10) had seven digs and two aces in a three-set sweep of Rider on Saturday.
>>Puget Sound junior Christina Chun (Maryknoll ’10) had a team-high 19 digs and sophomore Kelsey Lee (Punahou ’11) had a dig and an ace in a four-set victory over Colorado College on Sunday.
>>Pacific (Ore.) freshman Marie Rewick (Punahou ’12) finished one kill shy of the school record, totaling 27 in a five-set win over Colorado College on Saturday. Rewick hit .349 for the match and added 20 digs and a block while Megan Zablan (Kamehameha ’12) totaled 60 assists for the Boxers.
>>Menlo (Calif.) senior Mika Mendoza (Moanalua ’09) had a team-high 25 digs, two aces and an assist and sophomore Courtney Calicdan (Moanalua ’11) finished with 12 digs and eight kills in a three-set sweep of Pacific Union College on Saturday.
>>Northwestern Oklahoma State freshman setter Kaydee Yukawa (Roosevelt ’12) had a team-high 23 assists, six digs, a block assist, and an ace in a four-set loss to Southern Arkansas on Saturday.
>>Dominican (Calif.) University freshman libero Sari Kwan (Punahou ’12) posted 24 digs, four assists, and two aces in a win over Hawaii-Hilo last week.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
>>Penn State junio Tani Costa (Kalani ’09) scored from 15 yards out in the 24th minute of a 3-0 victory over Ohio State last Thursday. Costa also notched her fourth assist of the season in a 4-3 win over Minnesota on Sunday.
>>Pepperdine sophomore Ally Holtz (Punahou ’11) assisted on the only goal of a 1-0 victory over Boston College on Saturday.
>>Occidental (Calif.) junior Elissa Minamishin (‘Iolani ’10) scored the winning goal in the 60th minute of a 2-1 victory over La Verne on Saturday. Freshman Michaela Tsuha (Punahou ’12) scored the other goal for the Tigers as the two combined for five of the team’s eight shots on goal.
>>Southwestern (Texas) University senior goal keeper Sarah Nonaka (Punahou ’09) was named the SCAC women’s soccer defensive player of the week on Monday. Nonaka posted shutouts in all three Pirates wins over the week, finishing with 12 saves, including seven in a 1-0 win over Howard Payne last Tuesday.
>>Wisconsin-Parkside senior Lauki’i Cheng (Kalaheo ’08) assisted on the opening goal of a 2-0 victory over McKendree University on Sunday.
WOMEN’S GOLF
>>Notre Dame sophomore Kelli Oride (Kauai ’11) finished in a tie for 23rd place at the Windy City Collegiate Championships that ended Tuesday. Oride closed with a 4-over 76 to finish the tournament at 8 over. Washington sophomore Cyd Okino (Punahou ’11) finished in a tie for 55th place at 16 over.
WOMEN’S TENNIS
>>For the third year in a row, Claremon-Mudd-Scripps senior Kristin Lim (Punahou ’09) won the women’s singles title at the USTA/ITA West Regional Championships on Sunday. Lin also won the doubles title by upsetting the top seed in the final straight sets.
