Bargains available at monthly bazaar

The Japanese Cultural Center will be hosting its Second Saturday Courtyard Bazaar once a month through August, with this month’s event taking place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Teruya Courtyard, 2454 S. Beretania St.

Bargain hunters will be able to browse for artwork, antiques, toys, crafts, collectibles, household items, books, dishes, clothing and gift items. While there, meet Stacey Hayashi, author of "Journey of Heroes," a 30-page graphic novel about the 100th Infantry Battalion and 442nd Regimental Combat Team’s World War II experiences. She will be autographing books from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
