Defensive tackle Wade Keliikipi (Waianae ’09) had one of his four tackles go for a loss, and DeForest Buckner (Punahou ’12) made a solo stop for the Ducks, who are ranked third in the latest BCS standings.
>> Notre Dame senior linebacker Manti Te’o (Punahou ’09) made seven tackles with half a sack and a pass breakup, and receiver Robby Toma (Punahou ’09) had six receptions for 50 yards in a 29-26 triple-overtime win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.
>> California defensive tackle Aaron Tipoti (Word of Life ’08) made four tackles in a 21-13 loss on Friday to Washington, which got one tackle from defensive tackle Semisi Tokolahi (Hilo ’09).

Jeremy Ioane (Punahou ’10) tied for a game-high 10 tackles and forced a fumble in a 21-19 loss to San Diego State on Saturday.
>> UCLA kicker Kaimi Fairbairn (Punahou ’12) made all nine extra points and converted a 25-yard field goal in a 66-10 win over Arizona on Saturday night. Defensive tackle Sealii Epenesa (‘Iolani ’10) had a solo tackle, and safety Dalton Hilliard (Punahou ’09) made a tackle for a loss for the Bruins.
>> Washington State linebacker Chester Sua (Kaimuki ’11) made eight tackles, and Cyrus Coen (Pearl City ’11) had two of his seven tackles go for a loss in a 49-6 loss to Utah on Saturday.
>> Idaho senior linebacker Robert Siavii (Leilehua ’08) finished with a game-high 11 tackles, one interception and a pass breakup, and Solomon Dixon (McKinley ’11) made nine tackles and broke up a pass in a 42-13 loss to San Jose State on Saturday. It was the first game as the Vandals’ interim head coach for Jason Gesser (Saint Louis ’98).

>> Weber State quarterback Mike Hoke (Kamehameha ’08) finished 16-for-24 for 136 yards and rushed for 23 yards on 11 carries in a 24-21 loss to Montana on Saturday. Junior defensive back Kela Marciel (‘Iolani ’09) added eight tackles for the Wildcats, while Tonga Takai (Damien ’10) had a solo tackle and recovered a fumble for the Grizzlies.
>> Whittier defensive back Duke Aku-Harakal (Punahou ’11) made two tackles and recovered a fumble in a 61-30 win over Occidental on Saturday. Tigers senior Casey Shibuya (Punahou ’09) had two tackles for loss — including a sack.
>> Menlo (Calif.) College defensive back Joe Correia (Saint Louis ’09) made four tackles and sophomore running back Jordan Hakuole (Farrington ’11) had seven carries for 45 yards in a
31-21 loss to Saint Francis (Ill.) on Saturday.
>> Cornell (Iowa) College linebacker Geoffrey Miller (Punahou ’10) posted a team-high 12 tackles, including one and a half for loss — in a 50-28 loss to Illinois College on Saturday.

>> Texas junior Sarah Palmer (Hawaii Baptist ’10) had 10 digs, and Kat Brooks (Punahou ’12) added two in a three-set sweep of Kansas State on Friday. Senior Kuulei Kabalis (Kamehameha-Hawaii ’09) had a match-high 13 digs for the Wildcats.
>> Pacific (Calif.) senior Koala Matsuoka (Kamehameha ’09) finished with 24 digs and two assists in a five-set victory over UC Irvine on Saturday.
>> UC Santa Barbara sophomore Ali Santi (Punahou ’11) had 10 assists and two digs in a three-set loss to Hawaii on Thursday.
>> Lewis & Clark senior setter Leia Matsunaga (Kamehameha ’09) finished with 23 assists, 12 digs and two block assists, and sophomore outside Brigitte Russo (Punahou ’11) added eight kills, four digs and two assists as the Pioneers ended the season with a three-set loss to Puget Sound on Saturday. Matsunaga finished her career with a school-record 2,632 assists. In the loss to Puget Sound, Loggers junior Christina Chun (Maryknoll ’10) had 18 digs, three aces and an assist.
>> Nevada senior Kelly Chang (Hawaii Baptist ’09) had eight digs and an ace, and Elissa Ji (Maryknoll ’09) added two kills and a dig in a three-set loss to UNLV on Saturday.
>> Siena (N.Y.) junior Taylor Akana (Kamehameha ’10) hit .370 with a match-high 20 kills, 11 digs, three aces and two block assists, and senior Lesli Akeo (Kamehameha ’09) had a match-high 21 digs and an ace in a four-set win over Marist on Saturday.
>> UTEP junior setter Malia Paterson (Punahou ’10) had a match-high 52 assists, 15 digs and five block assists in a five-set victory over Tulsa on Sunday.
>> Hofstra senior Kylee Maneja (Sacred Hearts ’09) finished with a match-high 12 digs and two aces and setter Kainoa Ocasek (University ’11) had 15 assists and six digs in a three-set sweep of UNC Wilmington on Saturday.
>> Reigning Northeast-10 libero of the week Kea-Marie Olaso (Le Jardin ’12) had 12 digs and an ace, and sophomore setter Kaulana Ane (Kamehameha-Maui ’11) had a match-high 37 assists, nine digs and three blocks to lead New Haven (Conn.) to a four-set win over American International on Monday to move to 13-0 in conference play and clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.

>> Gonzaga sophomore guard Maiki Viela (Lahainaluna ’11) had four points, three assists and a rebound in a 90-48 win over Eastern Oregon in an exhibition game on Saturday.

>> Harvard junior goalkeeper Jimmy Field (Punahou ’09) made eight saves in a 10-8 win over Fordham on Saturday and had three saves in a 15-14 overtime loss to MIT on Sunday to finish in fourth place at the CWPA Northern Division Championships.
