Mason Spracklen hit the go-ahead RBI single in the seventh inning and Russell Crippen smashed a two-run homer in the eighth to lead Abilene Christian to a 7-4 victory over Hawaii on Saturday in a nonconference game at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, Ariz.

Hours later, Nathan Bannister tossed a complete game to lead Arizona to a 2-1 win over Hawaii.

The Rainbow Warriors have lost five straight to fall to 21-31 and clinched a third straight 30-loss season for the first time in school history.

Andrew Jones (1-5) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks in one inning of relief to take the loss against ACU (17-38).

Eric Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a triple and scored twice and Johnny Weeks and Jacob Sheldon-Collins each had two hits and scored a run.

L.J. Brewster allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings with one walk and five strikeouts. 

Stephen Ventimilia drew a one-out walk and Alan Baldwin was hit by a pitch to bring the tying run to the plate in the ninth.

Kaeo Aliviado grounded out to first and Alex Sawelson grounded out to third to end it.

Baldwin hit an RBI single and Aliviado added a sacrifice fly to give Hawaii a 4-2 lead in the top of the seventh before the ‘Bows gave up the final five runs.

Bannister held Hawaii to seven hits and struck out seven to improve to 7-5 for the Wildcats (30-24).

Tyler Brashears (8-5) took the loss allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits in 7 1/3 innings with no walks and four strikeouts. Brashears finishes the season with a 1.86 ERA. If he doesn’t return for his senior season, he will have the lowest career ERA for a pitcher with at least 50 innings in school history.

Sheldon-Collins singled and scored Hawaii’s only run in the eighth inning on a sacrifice fly by Baldwin.

Hawaii wraps up the 2015 season on Sunday against the Wildcats at 9 a.m.
