LAS VEGAS >> A California lawyer accused of trashing his pricey Las Vegas Strip hotel suite earlier this year in a real-life replay of “The Hangover” now has to deal with criminal charges for the alleged romp.

Robert Pearman, 45, faces a felony charge of malicious destruction of property for an estimated $96,000 in damage to a nearly 6,000-square-foot apartment at the Encore hotel.

A woman who answered the phone Wednesday morning at Pearman’s law office in Van Nuys said the attorney wasn’t available to talk.

According to a Las Vegas police report, the raging party came to light March 30 when hotel security reported that seven or eight drunk people were being hostile to staff.

Officers who went up to the Pearman’s room and found it in “total disarray,” with food spattered on the carpet, walls and drapes, shards of glass on the floor and furniture overturned.

Also damaged: Six lamp shades, a Michelangelo book, a speaker and a decorative vase.

Pearman, who was slurring his speech and smelled of alcohol, said he took “full responsibility” for the destruction and asked police to “let my people go,” according to the police report.

But authorities said Pearman was belligerent to Encore staff on scene, and declined several offers from managers to pay for the damage and skirt possible charges.

He also yelled in Encore staff members’ faces, police wrote, telling them he was a lawyer and would depose casino owner Steve Wynn “and make this place Napalm,” a flammable chemical used in bombs and flamethrowers.

Pearman was booked in the Clark County jail and later released. His next court date is set for July.
