Designers team up for 2-day exhibition

The Cut Collective is partnering with Curate, Decor & Design, The Hono­lulu Design Center and HONBLUE in an exhibition of four design disciplines under one roof.

Get a sneak peek of Allison Izu Spring 2015 styles, as well as creations by Cut Collective designers, over two days at Design House in the Hono­lulu Design Center Cupola Theater. Free.

Izu shows off latest designs for petites

Petites designer Allison Izu showcases her new collection, 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Nordstrom Ala Moana’s Petites section. Stop by and chat with the designer, who will be offering a free gift with purchases.

Expo features fashion show, more

First Lady: The Movement hosts its Fifth Annual Expo, a showcase of services and products — from handmade jewelry to desserts — offered by female entrepreneurs.

Highlighting the event, from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at YWCA Lani­akea, will be a fashion show featuring clothing from Patty’s Closet.

Admission is free.

Vendors lined up for free craft show

A Craft, Gift & Rubberstamp Expo plus Crafters Clearance Sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Blaisdell Center Hawaii Suites.

Experts share makeup tricks

The Nordstrom Fall Trend Show takes place 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, with an opportunity to pick up fall makeup tips and tricks from visiting beauty experts.

Laura Mercier training executive Regina Sanches will be offering consultations and a four-piece gift with purchase for those buying a minimum $95 in Mercier products.

Lancer Skincare’s Ferial Boukarroum will be offering facials and consultations through Saturday to introduce the brand’s Younger Serum, a retinol-like formulation without the harsh side effects, and Lip-Enhancing Serum. A Lancer gift-with-purchase will also be available.
