State Hospital patient charged with assaulting health worker
Prosecutors Thursday charged a 31-year-old Hawaii State Hospital patient for allegedly assaulting a 61-year-old Department of Health worker.
Police arrested the man on May 3 for the alleged 7 p.m. April 22 assault at the Kaneohe hospital.
Walter Leach V was charged with second-degree assault and returned to the hospital today.
