Marijuana not a good idea for kids

Giving new meaning to the term pothead, neuroscientists at Northwestern University have shown long-term brain changes in people who smoked a lot of marijuana as adolescents.

The study could not determine whether the structural abnormalities were present before the subjects began smoking pot, but it did show that the younger the students were when they started smoking, the greater the brain changes. The extent of the abnormalities linked directly to how poorly the subjects performed on memory tests.
