Security guard revives woman, 26, in near-drowning at Turtle Bay
Paramedics took a 26-year-old woman to a hospital in serious condition Friday afternoon after an apparent near-drowning at the North Shore’s Turtle Bay area, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
A security guard spotted the woman face down in the water, jumped in, brought her to shore and performed cardiovascular resuscitation, which revived her, EMS said. Paramedics arrived and took over her care, taking her to a hospital.
The woman, a visitor, had been snorkeling in the area.
