More than 20 Hawaii venues populate the Top 100 list of outdoor U.S. dining restaurants from OpenTable’s 2013 Diners’ Choice Awards.

The restaurants: Beach Tree at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai; Blue Dragon, Kamuela; Brown’s Beach House at The Fairmont Orchid; Capische?, Wailea; Duke’s Beach House Maui, Lahaina; Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante, Lahaina; Gannon’s, Wailea; Gaylord’s at Kilohana, Lihue; Hau Tree Lanai, Honolulu; Hula Grill Kaanapali, Lahaina; Island Lava Java, Kailua-Kona; Japengo Kaanapali, Lahaina; Kamuela Provision Co., Waikoloa; Oasis on the Beach, Kapaa; Ola at Turtle Bay Resort, Kahuku; Pacific’O, Lahaina; Plantation Gardens Restaurant and Bar, Koloa; Plumeria Beach House, Kahala; Sam Choy’s Kai Lanai, Kailua-Kona; and ‘Ulu Ocean Grill and Sushi Lounge, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai.
Results come from more than 5 million diner reviews of more than 15,000 U.S. restaurants between May 2012 and April 2013.
California took nearly half the spots, with 42 restaurants. Popular were American, seafood and regional cuisines.
