A 24-year-old Kapolei man is in custody after he allegedly terrorized and kidnapped three women and a man last month.

Police said the suspect got into an argument with a 23-year-old man Sept. 16 at a home in Kalaeloa.

The argument escalated and suspect allegedly threatened the man with a knife. The man left the home. However, the suspect didn’t allow the three women — ages 24, 25 and 26 — to leave and threatened them with a knife and a hammer.

The suspect was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of three counts of kidnapping and four counts of first-degree terroristic threatening.
