The Rainbow Warrior swimming team closes its fall season in the Texas Invitational. The three-day meet begins Thursday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin.
UH will be part of a 10-team men’s field led by the host Longhorns, who are ranked seventh in the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll. Wisconsin is 21st in the poll with Utah and Harvard also receiving votes.
UH diving coach Mike Brown, a three-time national coach of the year at Texas who led the Longhorns to 14 national titles, was inducted into the Texas Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame in the spring and will be honored during the Longhorn Network’s broadcast of this weekend’s meet.
