CEO of Honua Kai resort operator resigns
DENVER >> Intrawest Resorts Holdings, which operates six North American ski resorts, says Chief Executive Officer Bill Jensen has resigned for personal reasons.
The company said Friday that Thomas F. Marano was hired to succeed Jensen.
Sky Foulkes, president of Intrawest’s Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont, was appointed chief operating officer of Intrawest.
Jensen had been CEO since 2008. Previously, he was the head of Vail Resorts Inc.’s mountain division.
Intrawest is based in Denver and operates the Steamboat and Winter Park ski resorts in Colorado; Tremblant in Quebec and Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada; Snowshoe in West Virginia; and Stratton in Vermont.
The company also operates the Honua Kai Resort & Spa in Hawaii and the Westin Monache at Mammoth Lakes, California.
